• Services

  1. Our business hours are 8 a.m. -5 p.m. We request 24-hour notice for all errands.  Saturday and Sunday service is by appointment only.
  2. Our service area includes Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Suffolk and Norfolk.

• Fees

  1. An initial, 30-minute client consultation is free.
  2. Retainer/membership fees must be paid promptly.  Fees are nonrefundable and cannot/will not be carried over.
  3. An additional mileage charge of .49 per mile will apply to any job outside a 25-mile radius, unless otherwise stated.
  4. A past-due charge of $15 applies after 14 days; a charge of 1.5% per month applies after 30 days.
  5. $30 will be charged for returned checks.

• Payment

  1. All agreed-upon fees are to be paid before or at time of services rendered.
  2. Client is responsible for all costs related to requests, and payment is due before service.  These costs include items like dry cleaning, automobile repair, catering and personal shopping.
  3. These payment methods are accepted: Checks, money orders, cash or American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa credit cards.
  4. All corporate clients will be on a billing cycle.

• Safety

  1. Errand services will not be performed involving any dangerous or illegal activity or anything that places On The Go Concierge employees in unreasonable danger.

• Employment Status

  1. On The Go Concierge is a licensed business and is a subcontractor of the client.
  2. Client has no responsibility to withhold any taxes from or provide any benefits to errand service.
  3. Independent agents used on a project are not considered employees.  On The Go Concierge will make every effort to contract with competent, honest and trustworthy individuals.
  4. Contacting an errand runner directly is a violation of their contract, will jeopardize their standing with On The Go Concierge and be considered a violation of your agreement.  Services may be discontinued.

• Surcharges

  1. The following surcharges apply: $25 for services outside regular business hours; $10 added to bill for same-day service request when schedule is full.  These are in addition to regular charges.
  2. Client will be charged a $5 fee for a separate trip to pick up or drop off a key/set of keys or payment.

• Cancellation

  1. Cancellation of services requires a 24-hour notice.
  2. If no notice is given, a fee equal to half of the scheduled time will apply.  Notice can be given via telephone or e-mail.

• Confidentiality

  1. On The Go Concierge will not at any time sell or exchange client information to outside sources.
  2. On The Go Concierge will not release information about clients without their consent.
  3. Vendors will be provided with only the information required to complete a specific task.
  4. On The Go Concierge and its employees will use strict discretion.

• Liability

  1. On The Go Concierge will not be held liable for any damages that the third party incurs if a third party:
    1. damages client’s items (i.e. dry cleaner, damages by plumber while repairing leaky pipe, etc.)
    2. is negligent, in any way (i.e. food poisoning from lunch delivery, lost pet from broken fence, etc.)
    3. has access to client’s home while client is away and On The Go Concierge is not there
  2. On The Go Concierge is not responsible for any damages caused by a pet or child of the client while the pet or child is in the care of On The Go Concierge.

• Guarantee Of Satisfaction

  1. On The Go Concierge offers clients satisfaction guaranteed on all services.

If you are not satisfied with any of your services, On The Go Concierge will refund your service fee.
